When you are
alone, it seems as if the rest of the world is paired up with someone. After a few of the relationships I have been
in I am glad I am single, but on the other hand I am jealous of those people
who seem to have found their soul mate.
In two of
the relationships I have had, I thought I found it. I was sadly mistaken.
However that does not stop me from looking for the man who will make my heart
sing and make me glad to be alive.
Granted I
don’t need a man to make me glad to be alive, but family and friends can only
do so much. There have been a few times
in my life when it felt so good to be held by someone who loved me for me. Unfortunately
it has been a few years since I have felt that way. The last relationship ended in a heartache like the others.
I know that heartache comes for a reason. Perhaps the people were not right for each other.
Perhaps one tried too hard to change the other. Such a shame when one tries to
change the other. After all they fell in love with the person how they were at
first. It makes no sense to me why some people forget that and try to change
them.
Anyways on
